Beat The iPad 2 Rush With Local Hotel Stays

Sydney, Australia, 16 February 2011 – If you're like us at HotelsCombined.com, you can't WAIT for the launch of the iPad 2. Nothing beats the thrill of tearing open the box of a new Apple product and, let's be honest, getting your new gear on launch day is a bit of a badge of honour.

As with past Apple launch days, you can expect some crazy lines for the iPad 2. Everyone's seen those avid Apple fans camping out to be the first in the store with their bleary eyes and sore backs. We figured there had to be a way to get the best of both worlds – be one of the first to get an iPad 2 and get a quality, sidewalk-free sleep the night before. Turns out there is.

We have put together a list of hotels close to some of the world's best Apple stores. Now you can dream about your new iPad in style instead of on the street. Oh, and they all have high speed Internet, of course. We broke up our list in to four different categories of hotels:

Around the corner – Scope lines from the window and wander out in your slippers and robe.
Luxury – Do it in style. Send the bellboy to pick up your iPad. Well, try to.
Budget – Save some cash for those slick accessories.
Trendy – The place to be!
